SALES OF STANDING TEAK TREES BY PUBLIC AUCTION AT MTIBWA AND LONGUZA FOREST PLANTATIONS

Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFS) intends to sale standing teaktrees with a total volume of 8,676.111 m3 grown at Mtibwa in Turiani, Morogoro Region and Longuza in Muheza, Tanga Region. A total volume of 3,428.629 m3 and 5,247.482 m3 will be sold from Mtibwa and Longuza Forest Plantations respectively.

The standing teak trees, which are grouped into felling couples at Mtibwa and Longuza Forest Plantations will be sold through public auction as stated under regulation 31(ii) of the Forest Regulations, 2004. The standing teak trees are to be sold as on “as is where is” basis and TFS shall have no further liability after the sales.

The public auctioning events will be held on Tuesday 17th August, 2021 at10.30 am at Mtibwa Forest Plantation Office and Thursday 19th August, 2021 at10.30 am at Longuza Forest Plantation Office.

Interested company or an individual person may visit the sites (the plots) at Mtibwa and Longuza Forest Plantations from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM - Monday to Friday except on public holidays. The Forest Plantation Principal Conservator will provide additional information on plots including harvesting conditions. 

Interested company or an individual person shall submit his/her intention and other information in a closed envelope indicating forest plantation name, compartment name, plot number and proposed floor price per volume per plot in sequence as shown in Table 1 and Table 2 of this advertisement.

Selections of plots to be harvested should be as per list in Table 1 and Table 2 as shown in PDF attached
